What is the cost of $1.09 if it decreases 37.3 percent. New cost.

Tomatoes are expected to undergo a 37.3 decrease in price. If current price is a $1.09, what is the new price?

That is the correct answer for a decrease of 37.3% from $1.09
Rounded it would simply be $0.68
 
If it is supposed to be an increase then the new price is
137.3% of the original price
 
1.373(1.09) = 1.49657  rounded to nearest cent is $1.50
