I have 50 cups , 3 at a quarter full and 47 cups are half full. How many mls is that?

First figure out how many cups of liquid you have.

3 x 1/4 = 3/4 plus 47 x 1/2 = 47/2.  The 47/2 can be converted to 23^1/2 cups.  So, total cups of liquid = 3/4 + 23^1/2 = 24^1/4 cups

 

Next, one has to convert cups of liquid to mls of liquid. For this you need to know the conversion factor which is 1 cup = 237 mls

Thus, 24.25 cups x 237 mls/cup = 5747 mls (assuming you don't have to round to the correct # of sig.figs.)
