187 as a percentage?

issue
water issues - 5 (Apr), 5 (May), 10 (year to date), 16.3% (Year to date %) FORMULA -> (10/62)%

Total - 102 (Apr), 85 (May), 187 (year to date), _______ (year to date%)?????

If the same formula is used for the year to date % in total I get about 300% which is ridiculous! Is there any way, please?

Firstly, thanks for your response Mr. Andy.

It's like this Mr. Andy, this is a report based on the number of jobs sent through a system., and is compared from April to May and then year to date (April+May).

So, let's say if 5 jobs in April & 5 in May --> YTD  = 10. And to get the YTD% = YTD value/61 = 10/61 = 16.39%

61 equals to the total no. of days in both Apr & May.

Likewise, let's say there are 10 criteria, and I get the total for YTD as 187. So, to get the YTD total% out of 100, what I did was I added all of the YTD% & divided it by 61:

16.39%
27.87%
32.79%
19.67%
4.92%
16.39%
18.03%
21.31%
19.67%
73.77%
1.64%
13.11%
11.48%
6.56%
3.28%
13.11%
+
/61 = 5%

So, I just want to get it confirmed whether my formulas were right.

Because in YTD we want the values from April to May (that is 61 days).
