asked 06/03/18How should a child care professional react to observing children with skill levels below the milestones on developmental scales?
This is a child development question. The reading my teacher gave me does not have this answer within it. It may seem stupid, but I'm extremely stressed and just need some help.

The milestones are averages/guidelines. Not all children will sit up, crawl, walk, talk, at the same time, or even in the same order. If the children aren’t meeting the targets, neurological testing can be done to determine if there is an issue or if they are just late bloomers.
