i have 45 out of a total of 60 points on check-up quizzes. There is one more quiz in this unit and it is out of 30 points. what do i have to score on this last quiz to raise my quiz grade to 80% overall?

Your quizzes (including the next one) total 90 points.  80% of 90 is (90)(0.8) = 72.  You have 45, so on the next quiz you must get at least 72 - 45 = 27 points out of the 30.
