If you speak both English and Spanish completely fluently, how exactly do your thoughts sound?

To me, it depends on who I'm with or where I'm at. If I'm with a group of people who are speaking Spanish or am in Mexico, my thoughts typically switch to Spanish because it matches where I'm at.

I encourage my students to try thinking in the language that they are speaking in. If you are speaking English and try to think in Spanish, it will affect your spoken grammar and sentence structure. Trying to think in the language you are communicating in allows you to convey your thoughts in a grammatically sound manner. Hope it helps.
