Is the vostros verb form used in Mexican Spanish?

Vosotros/vosotras is only used in Spain, where it's a plural informal you. I once asked a Mexican teacher how to conjugate the vosotros form of a verb, and he didn't know.

 

However, some Latin American countries use "vos" as an alternative to "tú," either form being singular informal you. Some, like Argentina and neighboring countries, will then conjugate the verb in the vosotros form; whereas others, such as Guatemala, will use the tú conjugation. This can be confusing if you're not used to it, since the pronoun is usually omitted.

 

(I grew up in Texas, but I first learned Spanish in Spain, so "soís" always sounds like "y'all are" to me. So when an Argentine asked me alone, "De dónde soís?", I was wondering "Me and who else?". I later realized that those conjugations are singular outside of Spain.)

I believe Spain is the only country that uses vosotros. Mexicans only use ustedes for a plural second person ("you all").

That form isn’t used at all in Mexican Spanish. A few countries in America such as Argentina and Bolivia use it.
