Which equation can be used to find the area of a pyramid's base if you are given its volume and height? Explain your answer.

The following formula can be used to find the volume, V, of a pyramid where B is the area of its base and h is its height.

Which equation can be used to find the area of a pyramid's base if you are given its volume and height? Explain your answer.

A. B = 3V/ h;

multiply by 3 to get 3V = Bh, then divide by h to isolate B.

B. B=3V−h;

multiply by 3 to get 3V = Bh and then subtract h to isolate B.

C. B=3Vh;

multiply by 3 to get 3V = Bh and then move the h to the other side.

D. B = Vh/3;

rearrange the variables moving the one you are solving for to the left-hand side.
