 How many milligrams in 1 ml if there are 5 milligrams in 10 milliliters

There are 5 mg in 10 ml

That means there are 2.5 mg in 5 ml

That means there are 0.5 mg in 1 ml

There are many ways to solve this. The simplest is right from the beginning where they tell you 5 ml in 10 ml.  Just divide to get mg/ml, i.e. 5/10 = 0.5
