Set it up so the units cancel out until you have what you want.

 

6.14 inches/dollar bill x 20 dollar bills x 1 foot/12 inches x 1 yard/3 feet = 3.41 yards

 

Notice how the inches cancel, the dollar bills cancel, and the feet cancel, so all you left with is yards!
