What time was sunrise?

Two walkers depart at sunrise, each moving at a constant speed.  One person is going from point A to point B and the other from point B to point A.  They pass each other at noon without stopping.  If the first walker arrives at B at 4:00 pm and the second walker arrives at A at 9:00 pm, at what time was sunrise that day?

Thanks for your quick response!  I am a teacher, and this question came from a former math competition in which my students have participated.  I have the answers to the questions, but no solution guide. Your answer does make sense to me, however, the answer is 6:00 am.  Any idea why that would be the case?

Once I get to a pencil and paper, I'll work on it. It has to do with the fact that when meeting at noon, they together had travrled the entire distance. The walker from A walked the portion B had walked by noon in 4 hours, and the B took 9 hours to walk the distance A had walked by noon. I'll throw thr numbers together, but maybe you can, too!
