Are you familiar with Wien's displacement law? A body whose peak radiative output occurs at wavelength λmax will have an absolute temperature T given by
λmaxT = a,
where a is a constant. You can also state the law as
λmax = a/T.
Here you can see the relation between absolute temperature and peak wavelength. This will produce a blackbody radiation spectrum.
