I thought I answered this already, but here it is again.
50% solution should be identified as mass/volume or mass/mass, but we'll assume it is mass/volume (m/v) which it usually is for a dextrose (glucose) solution.  
Definition of % (m/v) = grams/100 ml of solution.  So, a 50% solution means 50 grams dextrose in 100 ml of solution.
If you need 100 g of dextrose, obviously you need 200 ml since 50 g is in 100 ml.  Mathematically, this is done as follows:
50 g/100 ml = 100 g/x ml
50x = 10000
