ratio question

i would like to find the ratio of 100m / 3.5m would my answer be in metres or mm

ratio of 100m / 3.5m = 20m/0.7m
 
Your ratio is still meters
 
If this was a scale such as for a map, each 0.7m or 7 decimeters would equate to 20m

i have a field of 100m length and 3.5m width
lets make a ratio
100m/3.5m = 28.5714285714 meters
now we will convert metres to mm 100 metres would be equal to 100000mm and 3.5 m equals to 3500mm
100000mm/ 3500mm = 28.5714285714 mm
 
Both answers are same which one is correct did i do any mistake
