B. 250 is the constant amount, perhaps the cost of the cake or the deposit he has to put down on the room.

 

C. 35 is the amount per something, perhaps per person attending

 

It doesn't ask, but if the room deposit is $250 and the charge per person is $35. 12 people are attending.

 

f(12) = 35(12) + 250

f(12) = 420 + 250

f(12) = 670

 

The total cost for 12 attendees is $670.
