How to square non perfect number in Pythagorean theorem?

So, our example here would be x^2 + 92 = 162 then solving for x. So, x^2 + 81 = 256 then x^2 = 175. So I know here I would find the square root, but since this is a non perfect number, I have no idea how to do it. Help would be really appreciated!

x^2=175

√x^2=√175

x=√(25*7)

x=√25*√7

x=5√7

you can leave it like this or multiply 5 times the square root of 7 (use your calculator for this)

√7=2.6457513

x=5*2.6457513

x=13.2287565

x=13.23 to the nearest hundredth

or,....

just find √175 on your calculator

√175=13.2287565
