-2x^-2                                 Identity property of multiplication

-2/x²                                 The negative power means to move the x² to the denominator

A negative exponent means that you take the reciprocal of what is being raised to the power. Since x is the only thing being raised to a negative power, it's the only thing that moves:

-2x^-2y⁰ = (-2y⁰)/x²

Now, we also need to do something with y⁰. I will leave that and simplification to the student.
