What is the point slope equation of line that passes through the point (2,-3) and has the same y Intercept as y=5x +2

8th grade homework, everything else is easy except for this complic question. Please help.

The line passes through (2,-3) and (0,2) since it has the same y-intercept as y=5x +2

 

The slope is (-3-2)/(2-0) = -5/2

 

Point-slope form is y + 3 = (-5/2)(x- 2)

 

 As a check:

 

   y = (-5/2)(x - 2) - 3

     

     = (-5/2)x + 5 - 3

    = (-5/2)X + 2 <---- intercept is 2,  slope is -5/2
