on Wednesday, harry sold 3 times as many candy bars as on Tuesday. On Thursday, he sold 5 times as many bars on Wednesday. He sold a total of 152 candy bars. how many did he sell each day?

To solve Candy Bar Question for Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday:
You assign x bars to Tuesday, then Wednesday has 3x bars whereas Thursday then has 5X3x=15x bars.
The total then is x+3x+15x=19x bars=152 bars
x=152/19 bars
x=8 bars
Wednesday he sold 24 bars, Tuesday 8 bars and 120 bars on Thursday.
Check: 24+8+120=152 bars.
