You release chemical bond energy when fats, carbs, or proteins are burned.
This powers chemical reactions that require energy input.
Chemical Energy from this "burning" (catabolism) for motion (exercise) powers muscles (kinetic energy or energy of motion).
Some electrical energy is involved in all nerve activities. Motor neurons become more active in execise: they trigger muscles and motion.
Often overlooked is the inevitable conversion of some of the energy of motion into heat of friction (thermal energy: motion of molecules). This happens,,f ro example when your feet rub against the floor and when they push off for traction.
Finally some of the energy when we "burn" food heats our bodies.
Thermal energy: any energy that comes from motion of atoms and molecules as in heat and friction.
