Can I add percentages from different base amounts.

Question

I am measuring performance improvements (Percent difference)  from one quarter to the next.  There are four workers and 5 different areas of performance:

                              Worker A         Worker B       Worker C         Worker D

X contacts met            25.3%             17.0%          14.0%             8.8%

Y contacts met            15.2%             17.5%          32.3%            12.2%

Pending                      17.2%             14.1%          24.8%            18.1%

Valid                          13.6%             14.1%          24.8%            18.1%

Progressed                 32.3%             28.0%            6.7%            34.0%

 

Can I add up the percent differences for each worker to get a total overall percent difference in performance so I can rank them (highest to lowest performer)?

Yes, as long as each area of performance is weighted the same.
