Hello!
The function of the pancreas is to work both as a exocrine and endocrine gland.
The exocrine function is handled with the acinar cells, which secrete digestive enzymes, such as: proteases, lipase, and amylase. The epithelial cells in the pancreatic ducts secrete bicarbonate which work to neutralizing the acid that is transported from the stomach as chyme.
The endocrine function of the pancreas, in the islet cells, is to secrete insulin and glucagon to control blood sugar levels. Alpha cells secrete glucagon, beta cells secrete insulin, and delta cells secrete somatostatin.
I do not know exactly what is being asked about the blood vessels in the above question. But, I can speak to the important superior mesenteric artery and superior mesenteric vein which lie behind the neck of the pancreas.
