David figures he has about 320 ideas a day, but at least 75 percent of these ideas get interrupted-either by his sister, his other sister, his other sister, his mom, the telephone, etc. Of these interrupted ideas, 1/3 return later. According to these estimates, how many ideas does David lose every day?

.75 x 320 = 240 interrupted ideas

 

1/3 x 240 = 80 ideas that return later

 

240 - 80 = 160 ideas lost
