hello i am doing a project on the blue faced angel fish

hello i am doing a project on the blue faced angel fish or Pomacanthus xanthometopon . I am unable to find information on it. my question is what resource is it competing for with other animals? and what species is it competing with it is a invasive species in florida i think.

Look on the U.S. Geological Survey webpage...www.usgs.gov....for information on the Bluefaced Angel fish. The webpage states that this fish is considered invasive in Florida, lives where coral growth is prolific, and feeds on sponges and tunicates.

 

Here is another webpage that shows the "French Angelfish" (looks a lot like the "Blue-faced Angelfish) inhabiting Florida waters, and this fish is very territorial so it keeps other species from being able to eat in coral reefs or wherever sponges and tunicates are growing.....

First, I would like to tell you that the study of fish is scientifically known as 

ICHTHYOLOGY

pronounced

ithyology.

I know this because I had a professor who is an ichthyologist.
