Math question?

50 mg of an antibiotic to be given every 6 hours. Your child weighs 32 lb. Your research indicates that approximately 30 mg/kg/day is the recommended dosage.
Is this prescription safe for your child? (Show mathematically if it is safe)

If not is there an over dose or an under dose prescribed? By how much?

If not what would a safe dose be? Show your calculations to determine the safe dose.
15 ml of Tylenol3 to be given every 4 – 6 hours. Your research indicates that there are 12 mg codeine per 5 ml of liquid and that the safe dosage is approximately .75 mg/kg/dose every 4 – 6 hours.
