I need help solving this, dont need the answer just some help would be great thanks

A gift shop sells candles and flower bouquets. Each candle costs $8 and each flower bouquet costs $26. On Monday, the gift shop sold c candles. On the same day, the gift shop sold 9 more candles than flower bouquets. Which of the following expressions represents the gift shop's total income from the sale of these candles and flower bouquets?
A.
$8c + $26(c - 9)

B.
$8c + $26(c + 9)

C.
$26c + $8(c + 9)

D.
$26c + $8(c - 9)

I could be mistaken, but I think your sign is switched. =)
 
The problem says that there are 9 more candles than bouquets, which means c = b+9, meaning b=c-9

I recall bank overdrafts just because I wrote a check for $50 and added $50 to my balance.  The bank didn't agree.
