Solve for X
sqrt(5x-6)-9 = -2, Add +9 to both sides of the equation, sqrt(5x-6) -9+9 = -2+9, sqrt(5x-6) = +7.. Square both sides
(sqrt(5x-6))2 = 72 , (( 5x-6)1/2)2 = 49, (5x-6)(1/2)(2) = 49 , 5x-6 = 49, add +6 to both sides, 5x-6+6 = 49+6
5x = 55, Divide by 5 both sides, (5/5)x = (55/5), x =11
Check by substituting 11 for x
sqrt(5(11)-6)-9 = sqrt ( 49) -9 = 7-9 = -2 .... Checks
