Condensation is water vapor returning to the liquid state. In the atmosphere, condensation forms clouds and ultimately causes precipitation. Evaporation is water changing from the liquid phase into the gas phase and entering the atmosphere.

Transpiration is a process by which moisture is released into the atmosphere by plants. In essence, transpiration is the same as evaporation since both processes release water vapor into the atmosphere.
Groundwater is water that is found below the Earth's surface. The water table is the level below surface in which the ground becomes saturated in water.
