E. Process and Performance
Process Goals are the steps you plan to take to achieve a goal, (ex. exercising daily), while Performance Goals are the outcomes you desire to achieve (ex. getting in shape).
Process goals are things entirely under our control that we can change to achieve an end result, while Performance goals may be influenced by a number of external factors outside of our control; therefore, by increasing the amount of process goals we complete, we increase the odds of obtaining our performance goals.
