Hi again Travina;
12x -7 = 29
Let's add 7 to both sides...

12x - 7 + 7=29 +7
Let's add the numbers together...
12x+0=36

12x + 0 = 36
We do not need the zero...

12x = 36
Let's divide both sides by 12...

12x/12 = 36 /12
Let's note that 12/12=1
Let's note that 36/12=3

1x=3
Let's note that 1x=x

x=3
