American History Specialist, Writer, and Tutor
As a tutor, I don't give out answers. I do try to help the students find them.
Here are some hints: First, you need to know what the "Gilded Age" was. It was a time in American history following the Civil War when our country became richer. But the money and wealth was owned by a very few rich guys, who were called "Robber Barons." Those guys not only owned railroads, coal mines, and industry, they owned politicians.
Politicians ran the government, but they mostly helped the rich guys who ran the country.
How do you think that situation worked out for the poorer families and workers who had to work in bad conditions in mines and factories?
