Hi Tammy,
You will have to rationalize the denominator.
First you need to recognize that you will use the conjugate of 6-√x, that is 6+√x.
When you multiply 6+√x to the numerator and denominator, you end up with 3(6+√x)/[(6-√x)(6+√x)]
Now you can simplify the numerator 18+3√x and then
simplify the denominator 36-6√x+6√x-(√x)2 --> 36-x
put them together and you have (18+3√x)/(36-x)
I hope that helps.
