The Stanford Prison Experiment lasted for only 6 days. A snapshot study is a study that is conducted over a short period of time, usually within hours or a few days. Whereas a longitudinal study is a study that is conducted over longer periods of time, typically over weeks, months, or even years. Therefore, a 6 day study (the Stanford Prison Experiment) would be a snapshot study because it was conducted in less than a week (although, it does come pretty close).
