Which way do I rotate my figure if it does not specify which way it goes

Question

If I am ask to rotate a figure 90 degrees around point 0.0 which way does it go? The question doesn't say clockwise or counter clockwise? Help would be appreciated

From MathWarehouse web site:  "To rotate an object you need a center of rotation and how much you want to rotate it. By convention, positive rotations go counter clockwise, and negative rotations go clockwise."

Generally, clockwise is assumed if the direction is not specified.
