We can use the Law of Sines to solve this which is that in triangle ABC,
a / sin A = b / sin B
In order to find sin A, we can start with the law of sines and plug in our values that are given:
a = 6, b = 3, and sin B = 1/4
6 / sin A = 3 / (1/4) Lets simplify this
6 / sin A = 12
sin A = 6 / 12
sin A = 1 / 2
So, the value of sin A = 1/2.
