Patient, kind, & creative: I make learning interesting
- If you are reading in chapter 10, for example, about a concept introduced is a previous chapter, it can be much quicker to turn backwards for clarification. Or forwards to a glossary for that matter.
- Books can be easier when working with a study partner, or your WyzAnt tutor.
- PostIt notes are great tools when studying for a test. Students can summarize on the notes. Have you tried sticky notes on a tablet? :)
- Books never need to be charged. They are useful 100% of the time.
- As a study method, I recommend that pupils read the introduction first; the chapter summary second. This provides them with the main ideas in a chapter. Thirdly, they should become familiar with vocabulary lists. Lastly, they should read the text for the details. Often this study method works better with a book than many tablets.
