These two questions are apart of my study guide for a history test and I would just like to check my answers. :)
What did the delegates of the Constitutional Convention do to end the debate about hiw to elect the President?
-They decided to let Congress elect the President
- They decided to let the people elect the President
-They created an Electoral College to elect the President
-They decided to let the state's governers elect the President
The Articles of Confederation established a representative government. Which answer best explains how it worked?
-Every state had an equal vote in congress
-Small states had one vote in congress; large states had two votes
-The number of representatives was based on the state's population
-The number of representatives was bases on the physical size of the states

The constitution made congress the people who elected the president. At the time the country was 60% non English speaking and the only people who could vote were white men over 21 who owned land. Three fourths of the men able to vote didn't. America was founded as a republic based on elected representatives drawn from the best.

The Articles was suppose to be a loose confederation of states. The large states were in control and pushed the
smaller ones around. So the smallest got one vote and the biggest got 2.
