Rihana measured the width of her dining room. Her percent error was -5%. The actual length of her dining room is 120 inches. What length in inches,  did Rihana measure? Explain your answer.

5% of 120 is .05 * 120 which is 6.

If your saying that the percent error was - 5% with no absolute value, then I imagine that she measured 114 

because 120-6 = 114

and checking the percent of 114/120, it shows that measuring the room as 114 is only 95% of 120 showing -5% error
