I need this question answered for my hw

Hi.  What does your textbook say?

 

Think about this for a minute.  What do some industries along the Gulf of Texas do?  What is the big industry near Houston?  What kinds of environmental impacts does that industry have?  

 

So what about the Great Lakes lowlands?  I don't know if there is something sepcific the instructor or syllabus is looking for, but here is a prezi that I think was created by students which addresses with lots of cheerful facts about  the geologic region:

So what is tge question asking?  I assume "they" refers to industries in the given region, so what can industried do there to operate more sustainably?  Well first what are the industied?  see the prezi.  We have already taked about the kind of impacts industries can have on the environment generally.

 

So what specifically should industries in the GL lowlands do?  Remember what sustainability is and it should come to you.
