If we are given (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) we know that the slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1).
We can apply this concept to the following questions:
Part One: (-2,1),(3,-2)
(x1,y1),(x2,y2)
slope= (-2-1)/(3+2)
slope=-3/5
Part Two: (0,-2),(5,-1)
(x1,y1),(x2,y2)
slope=(-1+2)/(5-0)
slope=1/5
∴The slope for (-2,1),(3,-2) is -3/5 and the slope for (0,-2),(5,-1) is 1/5.
