The perimeter of a regular rectangle is given by Perimeter = 2xLength + 2xWidth, or P = 2L +2W

 

in this case, P = 64f, and L = 25f

 

So, 64f = 2(25f) + 2W

expanding, we get 64f = 50f + 2W

rearranging, we get 64f - 50f = 2W

14f = 2W, and W = 7f
