Keep in mind that simplifying ALWAY follows the order of operations. In this case, we cannot simplify any grouping symbols and we do not have any exponents, so that brings us to multiply & divide. For this expression, that means we are using distributive property with the negatives in front of the parentheses:

At this point, we need to combine like terms. You might find it useful to rearrange the expressions so that all the like terms are together. Remember to keep the individual sign on the terms:
