- Learn to organize your thinking before your words. Strong speaking starts with clear thinking. Before you focus on delivery, get clear on your message. What is the point you are making, and how does it flow from beginning to end. When your ideas are structured, your delivery becomes more natural.
- Speak to express, not to impress. Trying to sound impressive usually creates tension and overthinking. Focus instead on being understood. The best speakers are not the ones using complex language, but the ones who communicate ideas in a way that feels clear and intentional.
- Practice out loud, not in your head. Thinking through what you want to say is not the same as saying it. Speaking is a physical skill. You need to hear your own voice, adjust your pacing, and get comfortable with how you sound in real time.
- Get comfortable being seen. A big part of public speaking is presence. It is not just about what you say, but how you hold attention. This comes from repetition and experience. The more you put yourself in situations where you have to speak, the more natural it becomes.
Above all else...believe you can, because faith in yourself will boost your growth and and confidence.
