Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
buys for 60, sells for 70 means 10 profit
buys for 80 sells for 90 means another 10 profit
total profit = 10+10 = $20
assume he had $100 to spend
he buys for $60 and then has $40+1 horse.
he then sells for $70 and now has 40+70=$110, he's ahead by $10 over his original $100
then he buys it back for $80. he now has $30 + 1 horse
he sells for $90 and now has $120, $20 more than his original $100
