linear binomial function
1st degree, 2 terms
Hello, thank you for taking the time to post your question!
The general form here would be
-5x + 10 because you would go in order of degree
Since this has 2 terms that means that it’s binomial and the degree is 1 since the exponent on the “x” term is 1
I hope that helps get you moving in the right direction! Feel free to reach out if you still have questions beyond that :)

-5x + 10 has 2 terms making it a binomial. The exponent on the x is 1 so the binomial has degree of one.
The general form of a polynomial is written in descending order of the degree, so we get -5x + 10. The polynomial has two terms (-5x and 10), which means the polynomial is a binomial. The term -5x has an exponent of 1, making this a degree 1 polynomial.
