Nationalism
Imperialism

Militarism pertains to countries building up their military, often in competition with one another.
Alliances between European countries led to a domino effect of declaring war on each other.
Nationalist feelings about one's own country were at their height during this time.
Imperialism created large markets and money-makers for European countries who wanted to protect their interests.
Lastly, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 is going to set off the events of WWI.
