Not sure that this can be fully flushed out and solved because the total amount has to remain a variable since the total is unknown. Expressions can be written out for each job but there are too many extra variables in each expression to fully solve it. More information would be needed.
What we can do:
Between both jobs, she worked 91 hours. Let tutor equal t and waitress equal w:
t + w = 91
To get hours for tutor:
t = 91 - w
To get hours for waitress:
w = 91 - t
The expression for calculating total dollar amount is:
14t + 11w = total
