A Prime Number is a number that only has 1 and itself as factors. For example the number 5, is a Prime Number as only 1 and 5 are factors of the number 5. Or the only way to get 5 again, by multiplying whole numbers, is to multiply 5 and 1. There are an infinite amount of prime numbers.
