does it mean
-x-5= (-1/-3)(3x+5) or -x-5=-1/-3(3x+5) ??
if the former then one unique solution, x=-10/3
if the latter then 2 solutions, Not 1, not none, not an infinite number of solutions
which suggests you intended the 1st version
graph the Left side, graph the right side, see where they intersect
y=-x-5 and y= which ever version you intended
1st version gives 2 straight lines. 2nd gives a straight line and a curve with 2 intersection points
