Hi Rylan,
Jason is drawing a line segment on a coordinate grid. He starts at the point (2, –4) and ends at a point 6 units up. At what point does Jason end the line segment?
Given: point (2,-4)
Ends 6 units up from the original point.
The coordinate values are (x,y)
When you "go up" 6 points, you are increasing your y value by 6 units
so your new coordinate would be (2, -4 + 6) = (2, 2)
